چکیده
The spotted lanternfly, Lycorma delicatula (Hemiptera: Fulgoridae), an invasive planthopper discovered in Pennsylvania, U.S. 2014, has spread to many surrounding states despite quarantines and control efforts, further is anticipated. A classical (importation) biological program would contribute the long-term management of L. eastern In its native range China, Anastatus orientalis (Hymenoptera: Eupelmidae), egg parasitoid, causes significant mortality. consists multiple haplotypes that differ important parameters. To delineate physiological host A. Haplotype C, we completed no-choice choice testing. No-choice testing non-target eggs from 36 insect species spanning six orders 18 families showed physiologically this haplotype can develop a variety Coreidae, Fulgoridae, Pentatomidae, Saturniidae. Ten 16 were attacked tests also tests. production progeny on masses was significantly lower than controls ( run simultaneously) For resulted female wasp progeny, these females able produce their own at same rate as reared eggs. Larger corresponded increased female-biased sex ratio suggesting gravid select them for fertilized Results studies suggest C prefers parasitize but capable developing some species.

Spotted Lanternfly, Lycorma delicatula (White) is a recently introduced pest of Tree-of-Heaven, Ailanthus altissima (Mill.) Swingle in North America. Natural enemy surveys for this pest in Pennsylvania in 2016 recovered an encyrtid egg parasitoid from both field collections and laboratory rearing of field-collected L. delicatula egg masses. Both molecular and morphological data confirm that the...
